"What a beautiful place inside and out! Very well planned and designed for family gatherings or large groups. Plenty of comfy beds and it’s nice to have two kitchens and two separate laundry options. The views of the lake are perfect, and it’s surprisingly peaceful at all times of the day based on its location and little boat traffic. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding outdoors as well as the indoor game room with ping pong and shuffleboard! And for those of us who just wanted to chill, the indoor and outdoor comfy seating made it nice to just enjoy the lake. We were a little concerned with the lack of nearby establishments, but honestly found it pretty easy to navigate to get necessary supplies and enjoy a couple meals at some local or nearby restaurants. Overall, can’t recommend highly enough! You can tell the branding and attention to detail are top notch and everyone involved-including the property management- really want you to have a 5 star experience!!" - Kevin
"The Blue Bird Sanctuary on Kentucky Lake is a true oasis! It feels like home away from home—just cleaner, cozier, and with incredible views. Every detail is thoughtfully curated for comfort, from blankets at every cozy nook to soft rugs, fresh towels, and a fully stocked kitchen perfect for brunch or dinners with friends. Outside, the grounds are stunning: grill and gather around the fire pit, watch sunsets from the upper deck, or relax in the jacuzzi. The game room is a blast with bumper pool, shuffleboard, air hockey, ping pong, and board games galore. On the water, we loved the kayaks, paddle boards, and paddle boat off the private dock. My kids had a fantastic weekend and can’t wait to return—I loved having a beautiful, peaceful space to breathe and recharge. The Blue Bird Sanctuary absolutely lives up to its name!" - Megan
"The Bluebird Sanctuary is a beautiful new lake house retreat that is perfectly decorated and furnished. As soon as you enter the front door you are greeted with inspirational quotes and a gorgeous view of the lake through its many windows. This Sanctuary is a place to renew and refresh your soul. Walking out to the dock, or sitting on either the back deck, lower patio, or in a stunning sunroom with full views of the lake I immediately could feel more relaxed and at peace. Enjoying God's creation is such a gift. Everything was perfect! From the new appliances, linens, towels, furniture, exquisitely decorated utilizing the Bluebird theme with various hues of blue throughout the house perfectly matching in each room. Simply stunning! I love to cook and the kitchen was a joy to use and equipped with everything I needed to make meals. The house was the cleanest and nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed in! "Absolutely amazing!!!! I could not recommend the place enough! We will definitely be back. Plenty of space, plenty of beds, the outdoor areas were impeccable, the hot tub, the sunset views, the fire pit, the paddle boards! We loved everything about this home and we made memories that will last a lifetime. Also, Jeff the neighbor is soooo kind!!!
